About the event
In order to sleep well and deeply, we need to feel safe. If we were not safe as children, often there will be a part of us that stays 'on guard' throughout the night, in case the perpetrator returns - even long after the traumatising situation is past. Coming into contact with the reality of what has happened to us - often at night - and feeling the pain of being vulnerable and unprotected, can help ease the so-called 'disorders' we can experience around sleep.
