About the event
The idea that siblings are somehow in competition with each other for their parents' love & attention is very much normalised in our society. But, seen logically, why - in a healthy childhood environment - would two children conceived to one or both of the same parents end up at war with each other? When children do not feel wanted, seen, valued and loved for who they really are, and when they are not protected, they may well as a last resort turn perpetrator against each other. The divisions that start in childhood can end up lasting a lifetime. This workshop offers a space for anyone with siblings, and the parents of more than one child, to explore the tender and often painful reality behind the phenomenon of so-called 'sibling rivalry'
