About the event
In order to face our trauma, we need a strong connection to our healthy 'I'. This process includes recognising our survival strategies, trusting our own instincts, feelings and body sensations, and often involves disentangling from our identification with others (primarily our mother, but also father, grandparents & even siblings). As our 'I' becomes clearer, we are better able to come into tender, safe contact with ourselves and our own pain, which in turn reconnects us to our natural life energy and creative potential.
